Day by Day Workshop Schedule

  1. Day 1: Sunday 15th : Arrival, Unpack, Settle in to the Villa Vistosa. Short introductory session: Overview of the Alexander Technique and workshop expectations. Welcome dinner by Chef Karolina
  2. Day 2: Monday 16th : Home day! Gentle start. Breakfast from 8.30-09.30am. Stopping and Coming to Quiet: learning to stop reacting to the incessant stimuli of modern life and thoughts. • Learning goals, principles, and practices of Alexander Technique. Individual demonstrations of effects of posture, movement, and thinking on personal performance, breath, and pain. Lunch break at 1.00pm ,relax time 4.00pm afternoon session : Introduction to habit identification and effects of individual habits. Dinner served 7.30pm
  3. Day 3: Tuesday 17th : Breakfast 8.30-9.30am , Coming to Quiet : Restoring Natural Breathing. Guided practice session: Experiencing the real health benefits of natural breathing. Lunch time 1:00pm, Afternoon group will enjoy Mediterranean diet cooking class with private Chef -Find out what's makes this diet most healthy in the world and also so delicious! Dinner 7.30pm
  4. Day 4: Wednesday 18th :Morning Youga session , breakfast 9.00 - 10.00am , Session with Niall- Managing stress and anxiety- Identifying personal stressors-Understanding the effects of personal stress- Devising effective responses to stressors and anxiety-Stress management using the Alexander Technique. Lunch home 1:00pm afterwards we will depart to Lucca town : own exploration and shopping time,6.45pm meeting for Puccini concert and dinner in best restaurant in town.Back home
  5. Day 5: Thursday 19th : 08.30 -9.30am Breakfast. • Thinking in Action: Understanding the role of unconscious thoughts and beliefs in posture, breath, and pain. • Practical exercises to increase awareness of unconscious habits. Lunch break 1.00pm •Afternoon Group discussion or sharing session. 4.30 Walk to bio-dynamic winery for a tasting of local wines .Back home for Dinner 7.30pm
  6. Day 6: Friday 20th : Breakfast at 8:30-9.30am. Putting it all together: Personal Action Plans - Recording key learnings and insights -Group sharing: Personal action plans and feedback. Lunch time , later time to take a walk, relax ,packing. Getting for Closing ceremony or reflection session , gala dinner by Chef Karolina with wine pairing served 7.00pm
  7. Day 7: Saturday 21th : Breakfast and departure 8-10am, Until we meet again!
